The six sessions π― Β· one launch set, six decisions
The running job is Daybreak's autumn roast launch set: the coffee-subscription company from the sibling courses needs an email hero, a landing-page header, three social tiles and the printed sleeve, and the six must look like one hand made them. The sleeve carries an origin claim a lawyer signed, which is the first reason no lettering ever comes out of a model here. Every session moves the six assets one decision closer to shipping.
Where control lives
Five layers of control and one of them is a sentence. Which settings bind, which persuade, the vendor sentences that admit what each cannot do, and a dated control sheet for one asset.
𧬠Session 2 · mediumStyle DNA, written down
Six sentences a stranger could act on, including the one about what is absent. Three kinds of reference and what each carries, and a kit of four named files with one job each.
πΌοΈ Session 3 Β· mediumComposition and the type zone
Six frames at six ratios, each with a third kept empty. Placement lines written only in words a painter could be wrong about, and the composition reference that carries shape and not colour.
π€ Session 4 Β· bench nightThe lettering law
The encoder never saw a letter. The research that fixed spelling replaced the encoder, not the prompt; three vendors admit the limit in their docs. A bench reads your brief for the eleven characters that break it, and the fourteen adjectives that make it worse.
π Session 5 Β· hands-onConsistency is a pipeline
Seed at ninety-nine, style by weight, the Edit Model's four images, the adapter's five GPU hours. No vendor sells identity; the pipeline delivers it, with a person as the last step. One card on rights.
βοΈ Session 6 Β· hands-onWhen it earns its place
Plus 19 percent clicks while nobody knows; minus 31.5 when they do; a watermark that erodes trust further. The click evidence and the trust evidence side by side, and a rule for saying no. Final scorecard.
Your passport π«
Clear all three quiz questions in a session and it gets stamped. Six stamps means you stopped prompting and started art-directing. Stamps live in this browser only.
What this course is not, so you land in the right place π§
| If your question is | Go here instead |
|---|---|
| Who owns the output, what is copyrightable, where the court cases stand, what a Content Credential proves? | learn-ai-design-with-phoebe a4 |
| When must generated content be disclosed, and what do the EU dates require? | learn-ai-media-with-phoebe session 6 |
| How do I write a constraint brief for product UI, or use references when drafting screens? | learn-ai-design-with-phoebe b2 and b7 |
| How do I generate on-brand images at marketing volume? | learn-ai-marketing-with-phoebe b8 |
| How do I art-direct an illustration so it is a picture before it is a style, keeps its type out of the model, matches its siblings, and knows when not to exist? | you are in the right place |
Session 5 carries one card on rights, the single Copyright Office line the pipeline needs. Everything else in that territory lives with the two owning courses, because two courses owning one body of law disagree with each other eventually.
Choose your path πΊοΈ
Three doors into the same conviction: the prompt is the last and weakest of five controls, and art direction is the other four.
What is honest here π§Ύ
The bench in session 4 counts things in the text of a brief against a fixed lexicon you can read in the source. The one-line verdict is a rule of thumb and is labelled as one on the widget. Nothing is generated, anywhere on this site, and the reason is the subject of session 4.
| Claim | Status |
|---|---|
| Anchors, style words, families, conflicts, quoted characters, refusal, zone, ratio, references | Really counted in the brief against lexicons in assets/il-live.js; the lists are finite and deliberately so |
| The verdict line | A heuristic, labelled as one on the widget |
| Every parameter range, ceiling and vendor admission | Read from the documentation page named, on 2026-09-18, and dated on the page; these move and the date is part of the fact |
| The image the brief would produce | Not judged. The bench measures the one input a person fully controls. A perfect brief can still make a bad picture, and a person with the six sentences decides that |
| "Model X renders text at Y percent accuracy" | Not stated. The widely quoted comparison could not be verified and is excluded rather than repeated |
| Rights, indemnities, the cases, disclosure | One card, two verbatim Copyright Office lines; everything else points at the owning courses |
| Daybreak's launch set | A teaching situation. The counting code is real |
